We are happy to announce that Paragliding courses and tandems are now available at FFS...  Claudio Mota joins FFS as Senior PG instructor. "It's a pleasure to be in the Sunny Okanagan"  Don joins FFS as PG instructor. "I have flown in the Lumby area since 1998. Having flown on most continents, the Lumby valley/Okanagan region is still one of my favourite places to play!"

Listen up folks! If you haven't yet tried paragliding you are truly missing out on one of the most spectacularly crazy and fun human endeavours since we learned to walk. Its been just over two weeks now since Dianne and I had our first tandem flight with Claudio at the Freedom Flight school and things still haven't returned to normal. The experience was unforgettable. It has sharpened our senses. Things are brighter. Sounds are louder. Dreams are colourful. Food tastes amazing. Sex is ... hmm... well sex is still better than paragliding... but it's a close call. You can go buy some stretchy pants and a mat if you want but nothing will increase your feeling that "all is one" more than hanging at 7500 feet with only 20 lbs of string and nylon. My flight with Claudio was so high that we have renamed him "Cloudio". Can't wait to get back to Lumby for another go. Oh ... and does anybody know how I might get Dianne to stop whispering Claudio's name?
